We'd like to introduce Dr. Roberts
Urology
Steven Roberts, M.D. will be joining Elizabeth Newsom, M.D. in the Santa Cruz Medical Clinic's Department of Urology.
Dr. Roberts received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of California, Davis and his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. Following medical school, he spent the next six years in urologic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Roberts has done research and has published scientific articles and book chapters on topics such as kidney stone disease, benign and malignant conditions of the prostate, the use of surgical prosthetic devices for urinary incontinence, and the use of laboratory and screening tests for early detection of bladder cancer. Dr. Roberts has special clinical interest in all aspects of prostate, bladder and kidney cancer, as well as the application of laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery in urology. Dr. Roberts is looking forward to establishing his practice December 26, 2001.
